okay guys, my friend has a b16 sitting at his house that he wanted to swap into his car he has right now, 2000 civic, its got everything, i mean everything, ready to drop into a 96-00 civic ex. Nothing wrong with it, just wants to get a b18 instead since hes not gonna run boost afterall. Wanted to sell it to me for 950. I know thats a killer deal but i dont have the money and he doesnt know if he can hold it. Should i ask him to tho? right now my car, 96 civic ex d16y8, has I/H/E and a short shifter with afew other goodies. But i know its no where near as fast as a b16, and with that motor i could also boost it later like i want to.

What should i do?

that is such a good deal. if it where me i would be doing every thing i could to get that engine. i got a killer deal on mine thats the only reson i have the swap already. if you can, can you put up some pics?

not a fan of the b16 but if I coulda got one for 950 I wouldnt have a gsr motor lol.

 

Look all over your house and sell a bunch of crap so you can buy it, hell, sell your intake, header and short shifter! lol. But seriously, that's an awesome deal... jump on that!

im going to try to buy it but funds are tight right now with me getting my own place to live soon. Ill keep you guys updated.
