I know i need skunk2 valve springs and retainers for the Stage 1 pro series cams, but do i also need uprated valves and anything elsetoo?

You shouldn't have to. I though you didn't even have to change springs and retainers for Stage 1-Stage 2, but then again I also have a D15 engine.

My guess is just go ahead with what you were going to do, I doubt you'll have to change the rockers and everything because it's just a Stage 1.

if it was too big of a cam for stock valvetrain then they should tell you that they recomend valvetrain upgrades in the description of the cam

Yes it is needed, I sale Skunk 2 and it has it in the books and with the cams in the box. All pro cams need full valvetrain upgrades.
