Uh yea VTEC is that great becuase it gives you a race cam and an economy grind in the same cam or cams and while it may be still semi docile in stock form a few properly thought out add on's can realise extremely huge gains in power and torque you need to remember your workin with only 97 cubic inches of engine for a B or D16 1.6 litre and my 1.5l is only 91c.i.! and it makes more than 1 horsepower per cubic inch that is ridiculasly amazing that there getting the amount of power out of that small of displacement. Theres Harley motors bigger than that! (S&S and Custom Chrome Stroker Kits) but anyway looking at it in this perspective should help
