Default Some help please !

I currently have a 1994 Honda del sol S ..

I want to put a B16A Engine in it ....

First of , Is there ANY difference between the B16A1 B16A2 and B16A3 ... i thought the Gen 3 was OBD2 but i dont know of anydifference in gen 1 and 2 .. please help .

And also .. if i buy a B16A ... will the stock 5 spd tranny in my del sol bolt up or do i need a complete swap ??? i have the 1.5 SOHC del sol S .

Also is there any other Direct fit engine for a 94 Del sol ??

And Lastly Could i expect 220+ Horsepower With a B16A equiped with Cold air, Camshafts, Header , and exhaust ?? . [:-]

and thanks to everyones help in advance

well either way 170 stock is like a 85% power increase over my 1.5 ... i think it made like 95 HP off the assembly line .. now 155,000 miles later ... and its still pretty fast .. with a B16A and my 1,500 pound car it definitly be low 13's ... probably without lsd ... more then fast enough for me ..... plus if i wanna go faster i can always just hop on my Yamaha R6 ... but if anyone else has anymore info please let me know ... i am very seriously considering this and i want all the info i can get.

no way youd hit 220 on a B16 with bolt ons.

just pull an A3 out of another del sol and drop that in. you need the engine, transmission, the mounts, the ECU, and shift linkage.

I'd also really like to know how hard or if i can put in a B18C in my del sol .. cause i know its the same block as the type R 1.8 so with bolt ons i should be able to get 220 or so .. but i dunno how hard it would be to get in a delsol ..l. and also whats the weight difference in the B16 over the b18 ?? .

Also Nail i dont think an A3 would be in my best interest .. its an OBD 2 engine and i have OBD 1 .. .. i think i figured out the difference B16A Cable clutch linkage B16A2 Hydraulic clutch B16A3 hydraulic clutch and OBD2 .
