Default spark plugs

Just a pretty random question:

What brand of spark plugs do you use in your civic?

I have always used NGK V-power in Hondas before... and low dollar Champion in everything else.. I figure the cheap ones work fine and I change them about every 40,000 miles....

Went to AutoZone last night and the were out of NGK's so I got Bosch Platinum Plus (single electrode)

Some of those spark plugs get stupid expensive... I stuck w/ the $1.99 version.

I would def stick with the NGK v-power, when i first got my car 10k miles ago i put new champions in it. Last month i replaced them with the v-power(manual recommended) and it has a much better start up.

I have heard that Denso is the only alternative to NGK for plugs in hondas, but when in doubt stick with the owners manual.

If you are thinking about getting more expensive NGK plugs, this site might be helpful in deciding. http://www.sparkplugs.com/sparkplug4...Results&mfid=0

The study shows the IX Iridium as the best but the hp and torque gains were so little i dont think its worht the money.

Well I had some ruff start and got NGK IX Iridium plugs and it seemed to help in my cold start-ups, my 2 cents.
