Default swap info

Hey guys i'm a noob to the forum and needed some info about an engine swap. I just bought a 2006 honda civic LX and was wondering if it was possible to fit a K20A2 engine in from an Acura RSX Type-S and if it is how much work is involved.

Thanxs, Holla Back

wow...people are talking about swaps with 06's....i think this is a first for the forum.

unfortunately, the cars being fairly new, swaps havnt really been figured out quite yet. i'm willing to bet that sooner or later someone will swap in a K20Z...but its a while off.

I doubt you are going to save any money, in fact it will prolly cost more. You should have bought the Si and gotten new rims and taken the spoiler off. Since the 06 is pretty new there isn't much of an aftermarket for it yet, so you will have to wait for parts. Just to give you an example, swapping an RSX Type-S engine into a EM2 is like 10k. The motor, trans, ECU, harness is liek 5k plus mounts, axles, labor.
