Default Swaps

i was thinking off putting an TYpe-R engine in my civic but i also wanted to convert to manual aswell, what u guys think?

Lots of work to convert to manual as far as I know. I would stick with the auto if you can, at least you never have to worry about missing your shift and over revving. Not too sure, don't have much experience with the conversion. A friend of mine converted his 5.0 to standard, that took some time to accomplish though. But I'm sure it can be done. All you need to do is get all the clutch components, clutch pedal, and bunch of other parts depending if you go with a cable or hydraulic tranny.

its not too bad to convert to a manual tranny, a few people are in the process on this site.
