Need pros and cons on advancing timing via distributor cap on a 95 civic 1.5 with 160k. Thanks.

you will gain some power out of advancing your timing, but higher octane feul is a MUST.

you can advance it 2-3 degrees, but you might get a ****ty gas mileage if you do. moving the distributor towards the front advances timing, towards the firewall retards it
