does anyone have a diagram or can tell me what you need to do to advance his timing

 

what car......what engine........and why do you want to advance timing? in most cases you can loosen the 3 distributor mounting bolts and turn the distributor towards the fire wall, although this may or may not hurt your performance depending on your set up.
