timing belt

Default timing belt

just wondering if these so called "racing timing belts" are worth it. are they really significantly superior to a normal belt and what are the advantages.

what i'm getting at is, is it worth it invest in the timing belt???

they are just a tiny bit better/stronger, but in all honesty the stock belt has held its own time and time again

Depends on what all you have done to your car...If your just talking regual maintance on a semi-stock car then stick whit an OEM Honda belt. If your building and engine for a swap go ahead and spend the extra $50 and get a performance one.

Also if you like to set at a stop light and bouce the car off the rev limiter cause you like the sound of your exhaust get a performance belt. That is the worst thing on any timing belt to just set there and bounce the rpms off the rev limiter.....
