I don't know what can/will work with your car, but here's so mod's you could think about/research....
intake, header, pully kit, super charger, turbo charger, n2, upgrade the internals, what new engine do you have?
If you really want power, and money isn't an issue, a K20 series motor, beefed up, and turbo-chargered will be all the power you'll ever need

RE: Turbo a 1.5Dual carb?
carbs are tricky to turbo. normal carbs need to be in a sealed pressureized box when they are turboed, because of the float bowl and how a carb actually works. some carbs are made to run with a turbo setup like delortoes. these can be blown through turboed, just connect a turbo pipe to it and it will work, but then you need to jet it properly and tune them, which can be a real pain with dual carbs.

RE: Turbo a 1.5Dual carb?
I would do a dpfi to mpfi conversion and use a z6 head, intake manifold, and ecu. The problem with the DPFI setup is they only use 2 injectors and it is impossable to get enough fuel out of them to supply even the smallest boost project
