i know i want a boosted motor for my civic. i just want to know the best motor to put a good amount of psi to.

ya i do i have built two gsx eclipses and wrx. i just got a 1999 civic and want to build a strong dependable booted motor good for around 300 whp

 

Well are you looking to build the internals or do you want to boost a stock motor? If you build a D-series you can safely make 300 WHP, but you can swap to a B16 and make 300 WHP on stock internals with the right turbo setup... only thing you really need to do to the actual engine is ARP head studs.

 

i was thinking about building internals just because i like to know what was done to the inside of my motor.

 

build and boost the dirty d then. I recommend d16z6 or d16y8 motor, which I think you already have the y8.

 

well my car has a y7 so i decided i am going to build a b18c. it is exactly the motor i wanted but its free so i can't complain

 

free is good

 

u can make 300hp of a stock b18c
