TYPE R PISTON IN TO B18A BLOCK?

Default TYPE R PISTON IN TO B18A BLOCK?

WILL INTEGRA TYPE R PISTONS FIT DIRRECTLY INTO A B18A (90' TEG BLOCK)?

The A1 and C5 blocks have the same bore (81 mm) so I don't know why it wouldn't. You'd get some mad compression though.

as far as i know, they will fit, but, check into the compression. also, dont do this if you are planning on using the ls head, i assume this is for the ls vtec project youve been asking about, if so then go for it, but the valve pockets in the type r pistons are located wrong for a non-vtec head and they will hit the valves. if you are using the vtec head, then it should be okay.

I know compression will be bumped up. but to what, I don't know.

the ITR c5s stroke is 87.2 mm and the A1 block has a stroke of 89 mm. There's a calculator out there somewhere but it's inaccurate at best.
