Underdrive pulley on 2000 si? Car stalls when clutch is pushed in or in nuetral?
Well , i put the udnerdrive pulley on my 2000 civic si this weekend and ever since then my car stalls, either when the clutch is pushed in or when im in neutral? Ive heard a couple people say that u shouldnt put the underdrive pulley on cause its bad for ur car? But ive also heard that it takes 4-6 days for the computer of ur car to recognize the less weight and stuff. Just wondering if neone could help me out and if i should just take it back off and put the stock one back on? Just want to know if the pulley really is bad for ur car or if my car is stalling cause my computer is still getting used to the less weight? Ne help is appreciated thanks

it definately should not be stalling, I put an underdrive set on my 02 ex and had no problems with stalling or driving. People talk and talk but I'm going with the research I did that it won't hurt your car anymore than any other mod you do, unless you install it incorrectly.

Is it possible my timiming could be off alittle bit? i have all 3 pulleys? them two AEM pulleys gave me no problem, have had them for a while, but all the sudden i put this crank underdrive pulley on and my car is driving weird. Idles lower and stalls. Im gonna try to up the timing alittle bit and reset the idle and clean my throttle plates. If neone else has neone other advice on what it could be please let me know. Thanks

We had a big discussion over this in the tranny/differential board. People will say that the accessory pulley's are ok, (P/S and A/C). Which I plan on putting in my car eventually, but don't recommend the crank pulley because the 1.6+ have a harmonic balancer. It seems like no one is 100% sure here, so you may want to take a look else where also.
