Vitara Pistons

Yea, pistons would techinically "drop in". They are the 75mm ones (stock bore). Vitaras can create a slapping noise if you just take the stock bore. Here's a video I grabbed off of youtube.

I recommend the 75.5mm pistons. You would take your block to a machine shop to bore it out, and the machinist would then take your pistons and check all of your clearances.

the 75.5mm piston? are those the same vitara pistons?

yea its the same piston just bigger size so you will need to get your block bored out but 75mm are good you can get the noise like in the video posted but then i have seen some not get it but the noise is not piston slap it is caused by the floating piston pins
