What kind of engine should i put in my Civic? i was thinking about a B18 but that might be to expenisne..Any Ideas??

 

What gen, what do you want to do (all-motor, FI), what's your budget, and what are your horsepower goals?

 

97 civic Ex..and im looking for something to back up my exterior..cuz everybody thinks i have a lot done to the engine but i cant bcuz i dont want to put taht much into my stock engine so i am looking for something that i can do some stuff to it plus it is powerful..My budget would probaly be around 2 grand

 

A B16A2, some cams, and a few other bolt-ons sounds right up your alley.

 

If you are doing the install yourself a b16a2 with cams and intake/exhaust would be in the price range. If you wanted to go with a b18and want something 2grandish you are going to have to look for a b18b, then later down the road find a b18c head.
