i know theres more honda codes than you can shake a stick at, they would have done well to take a que from chevy and make one or 2 blocks and a crap load of interchangeable heads. ( I know this is sacreligous but follow me for a moment)that way they could have saved a great deal on tooling, and dies for every form of honda auto engine out there. and a B series engine would be a much simpler head swap instead of a labor intensive full engine swap. instead they followed Ford and made 3 differant versions of each engine none fully interchangeable.
