if you are planning on boosting down the road i wouldnt go any higher than 10.1 compression, and you will have to run 93 or higher with an awesome tune, might have to run race gas to keep detonation away. Superchargers are cool for low to mid power, they definitly creat more head being they are attached to the head and there isnt any intercooler there to cool down the air. Turbos have a lot more pull up top and and are better because they have the air being cooled down through intercooler/pipes before it enters the engine. If you want a supercharger go for it they are alot of fun but i think down the road you are gonna want a turbo for top end pulling power.

If you can wright what questions you still have unanswered list them again, its kind of confusing find a question that is numbered in one of your post.

i been looking and to many civics have turbos i want something different. people say that superchargers suck but. would i need pistons? or is it perfectly safe to run it like that. and would i get turbo cams? can they be used for the jackson racing supercharger? i should still get the ecu chipped and tuned huh?
