Default Won't turn over

Hey guys,

I've got a civic here, won't start. I'm not hearing a click from the starter solenoid.

How do you bypass the solenoid to test it out? Short the positive and negative terminals on the solenoid, right?

It's pretty tight in there, could I short the positive terminal and the battery ground, or the ground terminal and the positive battery?

Thanks guys,

- Cleeve

Yes, either way will work.
