hey guys...im planing on doing a tune up on my 91 hatch this weeksnd...changing: oil, tranny fluid(automatic), and timing belt....i may take my ac stuff out this weekend too because it dosnt work.? do you think its worth the time? for any power gains?...i was just woundering if anyone had any ideas on which brand of tranny fluid to put in..also and comments on the replacing of the timing belt?..or is there anything else u would recomenf changing when i do it?...later guys

of course, the tune up is worth it. Not sure about about the power gains though. Also, you may want to change your spark plugs, wires and distributor cap. You could also flush the rad, and clean your TB. As for tranny fluid, I'd recommend Redline. I've heard that stuff is great, but it's not cheap.

if you have the timing belt off, at least change the water pump. i'd also reccomend changing the idler pulley, and the tensioner pulley and spring.
