"what have you done to your civic today?"
-washed my car, like I do every week
-waxed it, has been like 6 months since the last time, long overdue
Will take pics tomorrow of new cluster faceplate and fresh wash if it's not gloomy outside.
And tomorrow the local shop is open, I may take my car there to get the front control arm bushings installed. Or I could just go get a vise so I can do everything at home...
btw if it rains at work, this is what driving along that 4 mile road to work will make my car look like:

not my car, but picture that in the front, back, and all along the side panels.

Removed Both Lower Control Arms. Got the Compliance Bushings pressed in and mounted the arms back on the car. Total cost was no more than $60 with parts and pressings, not bad for a semi DIY project.
Will wash my car and add a little bit of freon to my car tommorrow since it's reading about 27 PSI so it's a little bit below the normal 35 PSI.

I removed the pinstripes off my 98 DX coupe. A total of about 3.5...ish hours with a blow dryer and a ridiculously sore thumb/nail. Every so often I'd be able to carefully peel back a 2 ft long strip glue and all, followed by 3 ft of stubborn stripes that left all the glue behind.
Ended up being the easiest way, plastic putty knives would dull too quick because of the heat. A razor blade at a shallow angle would've been the easiest way, but the stripes were right on a body line so it would've been too easy to scratch the paint. I then hit the residue with Goo Gone.
Will hit it with Scratch X when it's warmer; looks like the pinstripes were put on before the clear coat had cured fully.

Fixed my window.
cleaned the interior.
My window broke when my girlfriend wanted to get some food. I rolled down the window and it wouldn't roll back up. Fell off the track. I didn't have any tools or time. I was in Chicago at this time. I drove back 1 hour and 45 mins with it about 4 inches open. Just fixed it today. It happened lastnight. My girlfriend was covered in a blacket the whole way back.
