also checked the oil pan gasket i replaced a couple days ago for leaks. no leaks

I ordered a type r style grille off ebay last night (counts as today since I did it at 2 in the morning!).

Can't wait to tackle the task of removing the bumper to get it on. It'll look so nice too...

The current grille is crap. Even the little honda "H" on it is broken in half :/ Luckily, that's one of the only bad things about the car.

I gave my baby a bath, and got her new brake pads. Installing them this weekend, and might just do a bit of cleaning in the engine bay.

AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!!

I put on a newType-Rgrille yesterday. Felt really nice to do it myself. I used the DIY posted here for removing the bumper. Worked great. I was able to get it line up perfectly too. I had to use some glue though. The one I ordered off ebay didn't have any holes for the stock bolts on the original bumper, which I thought was odd. But I just used some rubber glue from a hot glue gun I had lying around.

It looks so much nicer and cleaner. Especially compared to the old grill[:@], which was cracked and had a broken honda symbol lmao.

Don't bother commenting about the dent above the grille. I know all about it. It's going to be fixed soon [:'(]

^Nice grill, I need to get one of those.

Anyway, I didn't do much to my car today... Bought some new bolts and washers to fix my camber tomorrow, along with my new side mirror install... hopefully it won't rain[>:]

Yesterday I installed and wired my fogs. Then I rewired them so I can use them not just when my lights are on. After that I installed and wired my HIDs. Then, I installed my new skunk 2 dual bend short shifter and took a half hour nap under my car... best sleep ever.

I love my short shifter.

took it back to the tint shop and removed the factory ULEV sticker that they tinted over. Such a relief to get that sucker off... now it's all nice and clear for a honda civic forum decal...
