Ground, patched and primed all the dents and rust in my passenger side doors and fenders. Had to stop because it started storming. My car looks super ghetto now because it's covered in primer.[:'(]

I replaced my valve cover bolt grommets. Those things are a bitch to get off the bolts. Had to put the bolt in a vice and yank the grommet until it popped off.
Yeah, I had to cut the old rubber grommets from the bolts with an Exacto knife and spray the new grommets with silicone lubricant to get them onto the bolts. That required an unexpected huge effort. Did you also replace the spark plug seals? Those ain't easy either.
I actually bought the valve cover gasket set (spark plug tube seals, valve cover gasket, valve cover bolt grommets) a long time ago and did the spark plug tube seals and valve cover gasket at the time. I attempted to do the grommets then but I couldn't get the stupid things off and I was in a hurry so I just said screw it and left it alone. I was cleaning out my toolbox and saw them in there so I decided to give it another go. I usually take every chance I get to work on my car, but it's not free to replace car parts, and I had those grommets already, so it was almost like Christmas when I found them. LOL.

But yea, the spark plug tube seals were difficult too. I remember messing with them so long, trying to even cut them off, and then realizing i was just cutting the seal in half, not pulling them off the valve cover. Once I figured that out it was smooth sailing from there. lol.

I used to have a 93 DX with the D15B7. They sure designed the valve cover grommets and spark plug tube seals a lot better on that engine. On it, the bolts stay on the head, and the only thing holding the valve cover and grommet down is a nut that screws onto the top of the valve cover bolt. It sure made changing the grommets a lot easier. Also, the spark plug tube seals on that engine were different. They weren't wedged in the little valve cover spots all weird, they like fit around the little rings that are on the underside of the valve cover where the spark plug tubes line up.

My ebay tail lights started leaking. One of them filled up with water so often that the fake chrome paint had come off. I spent awhile popping them open, removing the old seal, repainting the insides with fake chrome paint, resealing them, and making sure they didn't look awful in the end.

Mission accomplished.

More patching more sanding. I'm on dent patrol again..... I can't wait to have all of my body work done. This prep work is a bitch.

I came up with a really nifty fix for my 96-98 style cup holder that had a broken latch. Only cost me $1.50 and some time. I have a DIY written if someone wants me to post it.
