na i wasnt dissing it... means HEY IT WORKS (better than broken) only thing i would advise is paint the whole brown latch black.

 

Wasn't accusing. Actually did paint it all black, but had no camera batteries left. Doesn't matter much. You can't see the latch because in the end, it's all under plastic.

 

Today, I took her to the car wash and got the cyclone metallic blue all shined up and washed the Dairy Queen Blizzard off the outside of the window from my girlfriend who threw it out the window because it melted so much it was overflowing and I didn't want chocolate on my seat.

 

I checked and adjusted my ignition timing.

btw, why isn't this thread a sticky? It's kind of a pain to have to look for this thread to post in it.

 

replaced the head gasket changed timing belt got head resurfueced and got my overheating fixed also replace the rad and thermo did alot of work to my baby

 

went to the junkyard and bought a stereo headunit sliding cover thing (del sols have them), a new ashtray console (my lid was broken), passenger door rod thing that holds the door open (mine was missing when i bought it), roadside jack, battery tie-down bolts (mine snapped) all for 40 bucks. i looked online and the ashtray console is 50 bucks new, and i'm sure the jack is pretty expensive, so i got a pretty good deal.

 

dang i found out there is a cheap pullapart within driving distance. wow them parts are listed and cheap as hell!!!!! needless to say im igonna keep checking there place out for new civics coming in!

 

Lucky. I have scavenged through all the local salvage yards and no one has any good 6th gens. They're all stripped or filled with rain water. Their engines areeither gone or trashed, taken apart and tossed aside.I pulled a Y8 head just to find that the block was full of water once. I can never get there in time.

 

Ok so i did tints the other day and said i was going to post pics but i been busy so here are the pics:

windscreen tint is 5% limo tint to block the sun
front side windows are the legal limit of 35%
the rear sides are 20%, didn't want to go limo to avoid them being so different from the front sides.
and the rear window is the legal limit of 35%

Theres also some pics of my shark eye headlights which i did along time ago and also never posted pics of them

These pics are in my garage so they are not the best and the car was wet, ill prob take some better ones next time inn out and its a nice day..
