"what have you done to your civic today?"
filled up my car. On my first tank with royal purple oil I managed to break over 300 miles under normal driving conditions. I probably could've gone another 30-50 since I had 1/8 tank left. I've only done this once before while really babying it and that was with the gauge being on E for a while. I average around 275 and have been using other synthetics before RP.
If it's a 2-piece header, make sure you check every day or two to make sure the bolts on the part where the two header pieces bolt together (midway flange) and make sure those bolts don't come loose.
I would invest in unbolting that part and putting on some high-temp lock-tite on the threads of those bolts.
I have a Megan Racing 2-piece 4-2-1 header and I experienced a lot of problems related to that flange. I never checked my bolts there, and eventually they came loose, 2 of the nuts came off and got lost while driving, and the 3rd was coming loose. I noticed the exhaust leak sound and checked it, and it was just barely hanging on. Then I accidentally stripped the threads on those stud holes and ended up having to buy smaller bolts and a nut and bolting it together that way. I also went through a lot of problems with the midway gasket, because of what happened. Eventually I had to use Copper RTV Gasket Maker on a replacement gasket to get a good seal. No more problems now.
If you make sure those bolts are nice and tight though you shouldn't run into any of those problems I mentioned.
Today I used invisible glass on the inside of my windows, and used armor all on all of the interior trim pieces.
I also adjusted my drive belts, and replaced my drivers side outer CV boot.

finally fired up my girl after a couple years and it only took a little bit of starting fluid and she ran like a champ. going to put a new fuel pump in today when i get home. but i was wondering, the transmission i have is done for, jumped it and landed on a boulder... i have a transmission out of a 87' crx (d15a3) i believe and i was wondering if it would bolt up? thanks..
