"what have you done to your civic today?"
Last week I fixed a nut that is inside the front beam (subframe) that I broke the weld holding it on. I had to cut into the beam reweld the nut in place and weld the cut back up. I also replaced all of the front lower control arms with Red Energy Suspension Bushings
.
Got a oil pan from addiction in the mail, bought a new gasket, gasket seal, oil, oil filter, and going to swap out everything.
...I have also been slowly working on my rear brake conversion. I have all that parts and I'm just doing some little things to make the swap go "fast". I have to finish getting the old bushings out of the rear lower control arms. The sleeves are a pain... ...then I have finish replacing the old trailing arm bushings as well. Hopefully, I'll be done this weekend, finally!

Well what I did monday was went over some train tracks and right after them was a huge pothole that stretched almost across the whole road, (i had never driven on that road)and I hit it! I ride on 17's so the front passenger tire popped and the wheel bent on the inside.... my dad was gonna take pics the day after, and the bastards paved it that afternoon so NO PICS.I might have to send the rim to arizona and have stern fix it. Well, thats if les schwab cant fix it... That was about the crappiest day of the week

I took it to my friends so that they can tear apart my passenger door and figure out why my lock mechanism shattered into a bajillion pieces for no good reason. They offered to do it for me.
I don't have the time to tear it apart. I'm so behind on by school/work because I just got done burying a good friend today. He died drunk driving. He was thrown from the car because he was speeding and not wearing his seatbelt. Let this be a lesson to you:
Don't drink and drive.
Speed kills.
WEAR THAT SEATBELT.

I gave her a bath inside and out, tried to buff out a few scratches, and (finally) gave her an oil change... switched to synthetic btw... synthetic ftw!
