thats normal, thats how honda does thing, thats why getting parts at the dealership is also known as the "stealership". i bought a screw/ bolt for the front bumper and it costed about $5 each.

yep.... prices suck BUT you know its the exact part you need perfect threads and length and strength!
small price to pay to know they are good quality parts!

The dealer wanted $6.79 per lug nut (16) for my car. I found them at Advanced Auto for $2.69.

It seems the dealers are trying to make up for the cost of the service dollars at the parts counter when you do it yourself.

oh, i agree completely bass. just wish (whimper) that they were a little cheaper. but there really is nothing like knowing that its exactly the right part. now i dont have to worry about themm failing, just have to worry about my poor mechanic skills!

per lug nut.... did the ones from advance have the plastic ring on them to hold the hubcap on?
i just pocketed a full set of lugnuts with the platsic rings on them from a junk yard.

As a general rule, stuff from the dealership is always going to be more expensive

my lugs were about $4 at kragen when at the dealer about $6-7? yeah better to find aftermarket first before OEM. Eventhough there perfect fit, who knows you might find them cheaper haha.
