Default 08 Civic DX 15k + T&L - good buy?

Hey all, I've been poking around for a new car and I really liked what I saw in the Civic, I'm just wondering if 15k is a good price for a base civic plus tax and licensing, any insight would be appreciated. If you can't see from my profile, I'm from Washington. This is apparently the only DX coming into the state and it's still 2 weeks out.

They also offered to setup a second battery system for my sound system (notoriously burn out alternators) at cost, and they'll probably eat the price - even if it is only like 150 to have it professionally done.

Do I have much to worry electrical wise from using power hungry peripherals? Besides 2 1,000w JL amps for two W7-10's I also use an 800w power inverter for my laptop for extended periods of time without running the engine (using orbital deep cell batteries, one marine one auto - marine for the hookups in the trunk), my current car an '05 Lancer has a severely weakened alternator from my stuff. Still under warranty, just haven't had the time to use it.

Thanks for taking the time to read,
-Rob

Nevermind that, I'm an idiot.

Instead of getting a base civic I saw an 07 Si staring at me... ended up taking it home. Maaaan what a nice car. Thanks anyways, people.

Yeah your gonna love your si, but its always bad for the battery and alternator to keep running power through them after the car is off.

Yeah I'm in love with it already... so brutal feeling when the cam changes profile and peak torque hits, it's manically addictive. It's not nearly as fast as my 93 roturdary 7 was with the bridgeport and single turbo swap, but it's really, really exhillerating to hear a piston screaming all the way to 8,000, then it doesn't even want to stop there. Tasty.

As for the battery/alternator wear and tear, I know. That's why I'm looking to roll a couple of orbital batteries. I noticed, though, that there's NO room in the engine bay for even the tiniest gel battery where the original goes. Any suggestions you have there? I'm also looking to get all of the Si and I-VTEKZ stickers taken off, only leaving the H emblem. No idea where to start there, I doubt the dealer would want to do that.
