wingnut, i have the same problem with my a/c, if i'm sitting at a red light in 90 plus heat, the air is nowhere near cold, but...once i start going again it gets cold again.

pros...

1. love the blue l.e.d. lighting up cup holders
2. gas mileage is terrific
3. brakes-4 wheel disc brakes on ex and si
4. 1 touch on the sunroof, i actually use it now
5. trunk release on remote
6. steering wheel controls
7. comfort inside
8. it doesnt have that traditional "honda" sound when starting

cons...

1. navigation is not all that
2.body work seems kinda cheap
3. like mentioned earlier, a/c cant keep up
4. once again, windshield hard to clean
5. it is very hard to judge parking being that you cant see the front of the car
6. very noisy on the hwy
7. no xneon lights option

i know alot of these things were prviosly mentioned, but i am just backing all those things up to better your decision on your purchase. overall, i am personally not very satisfied with my car due to problems that have yet to be fixed. good luck

To everyone's A/C issues, has anyone tinted the windows yet? My A/C seems fine, and today it's just under 100 and no issues at all. I know tinting the windows will help the a/c considerably! As soon as I get some extra cash the windows are getting tinted!

 

I talked to my friend over at the dealership and he said he hasn't seen any Civics come in with A/C problems. I live in AZ and my windows aren't tinted, yet, and I have absolutely no problem cooling my car down. Yesterday I think the high was around 109* and I was out in the middle of the day, never had one problem with the A/C. Gets cold super fast and stays cold.

 

cderalow: I also have 100,000 miles of bicycling, and I stopped counting motorcycle miles years ago. In 1980 I let my license expire and survived by bicycle only. As I was living in Austin, Tx at the time, it was easy to do.In 2000, I moved back to Illinois to care for my ailing mother and once again got my license. FYI.

 

2007 EX Auto Sedan Dislikes:Front head restraints are too far forward and always touch the back of my head - irritating! Weak A/C. (Texas) If you are in 2nd or 3rd gear and need to punch it - forget it - it bogs down - must be the auto tranny. No leather option - what's with that? Idiot maintenance minder system and Honda does not provide a paper maintenance schedule - that's BS - convenient to some but I service my own car and I'm not keepingoiland filter on it for more than 5,000 miles tops - as some here have attested the computer can send you over 7,500 miles before a change! 12V accessory jack in the bottom of the center console strorage box - so unconvenient..

What do I like about it?:Good mileage, nice ergos, pretty, you can get it for invoice or lessandI don't have to drive it - it's my wife's car. Just not enough power for me but maybethe 5 speed????
