21 civic CVY fluid change
Hello. Hopefully I am in the right area of this forum. A question about changing the transmission fluid. CVT trans 2021 Civic. It's a bit of a pain to get to the fill plug in this car. You have to take a bunch of stuff off. Unlike my Fit that just requires, I pull the battery out to access the fill plug. This car requires taking a lot of stuff off. Also, that skid plate on the bottom. With my back problems, I have a real hard time crawling around underneath the car on a ramp. Even with the ramp, it's pretty low! I do have easy access to the plug that is used to check the level of the transmission fluid. I can easily reach that from the top. It's on the side of the transmission case. My question is: Would it be acceptable for me to simply pump the fluid from that location and then replace the fluid through the same hole? I am wondering if I did this a few times, would it basically have the same effect as a complete change? This car presently has 20,000 miles on it. I appreciate the expertise here. Thank you
