well i picked up the 2000civic today!!!! this is my story.... i havea 94 civic ex 2dr. automaticw/ bags and big rims and all the cool useless stuff and i just got a 2000 civic 4dr. automatic thats 100% bone stock and i want to transfer everything coolfrom the 94 to the 2000 and sell the 2000 and make the 94 fast....i thought it was a 99 because all i saw was the outside and i heard the price so i jumped on it.... but come to find out its a 2000 anyways what all do i need to put the 94 d15b vtec into the 2000.... i dont wanna get a obd2d16 motor because the 94's motor is new and im gonna swap in aB18B-Turbo as soon as the 2000 sells so i need to get it running soon.... and both cars and motors are 100% complete so do i have to swap injectors and distributor from the 2000 to the 94 motor then drop it in? keep me in the no.... thanks

1) swapping the motor from an older generation car to a newer generation car is likely illegal in your state, and to sell said car, requires the disclosure of the swap

2) a 2000 civic is obd2, and you would need at least the ecu & a obd2 to obd1 conversion harness

3) this will require the entire engine from the 94

4) i would keep the 2000 as is, and sell the older, slower civic

why would you keep the older civ? The newer one is faster and has a better motor.

 

the reson i got the 2000 is because its a 4dr. and i got an air ride kit and a sterio system waiting for it,so ill fix it up and sell it to get a tranny, mounts, axles,ect...for my 98 usdm h22 tothrow in my 94 ex.... im in montana so smog and emmissions dont matter, and the cars sold to the same kid i sold my DA to.... hes got money and he offered me 6000 today for the 2000 as soon as its done....so anyhow toor diylink would be nice.... thanks
