95 D16Y block....can I use a 98 head?

Default 95 D16Y block....can I use a 98 head?

I just picked up a sweet D16Y block with a crank sensor.....Can I put my stock 98 head on it.....will these years mix here? What years heads can I put on this block?

Unless I am losing my mind, the D16y's came in the 96-00 Civics.

Assuming your vehicle is a 98 it would either have a y7, y5, or y8. Can you verify the engine block code stamped next to the transmission?
