I have a 1998 Civic LX 4-door and I am planning on getting a new rear bumper. Will a bumper from a 99-00 civic work on my car? Does it have to be a sedan or could it also be from a coupe?
Also will the mud flaps that I currently have fit on the 99-00 rear bumper?

The parts number's are diff for the 96-00, but to me they look the same.

Unless someone jumps is to give a little more insite on it, i would stay with the 96-98 years.

No, the coupe bumper cover will not fit, the mud flaps will fit if they are for the sedan 96-00.

 

The bumper should be a direct swap. I thought the bumpers were mostly the same with 96-00. Slight appearance difference. The mud flaps won't fit because of this.
