As for as the topic go's. i own a 07 si. and i love it. Now i have not raced it much so i dont know what it can do high end. My friend have an 06 mustang, its not a gt. i beat him off the lineand pull on him up to 50mph(i dont go faster than that)BUT we have not raced yet. to many cops around here to fully test it out. were going to the tack soon.I thinkhewouldwin in the end. As far asa gt.stock for stock i think a gt would kill me.

 

I know some body w/ a 05 v6. No power up top; its like it just stops at 60... You will kill it! my buddy has a 06 si, because he's never owned a "honda" before he wasn't so sure of its pick up since he was coming from a 92 camero 350. Whats happen here is he coming from a all tq or no hp(camero) car to a no tq, all hp(si) car. So becaus he' been killing alot of people up top, he think my car just slows down up top like he's camero did (but my car has hp to back up its tq). I guess well find out, i was just woundering if any body messed around w/ a GT before.

 

yeah i think the new gt's are sweet. Good buy, the point I was making is just that they have different intentions.

 

Not too good with mustangs but is the gt 8 cylinders? if so you have to remmember the civic is only 4 and it can only do so much without modifying it

 

Yes; its a v8 rate at 300hp/320tq weighting at a 3450 pds. And yes; they are two differnt cars made for differnt reasons. After driving his SI; it comes down to what your looking for in a "sporty" car. I've always what that v8 muscle car for a very long time; and for the money; its hard to beat the stang. And the SI in a class of its own, unlike the GT which will have a ton of enemeys soon (09 camero, dodge, GTO, etc).

The stang suppose to rip to 60 in a low 5 sec rang and the 1/4 mile in the mid 13's at over 100mph.
