Is your car an automatic or manual? Most commonly (at least on automatics), you can run the power cable through the rubber grommet that covers the hole that's meant for the clutch master cylinder of a 5 speed. From the engine bay, it's located just to the right of the brake master cylinder.

The way i did it on my 93 civic was thru a small whole below where the battery sits.
the whole went to underneath the glove box area..

Try looking on the firewall for holes where cables go into the cabin. and just squeeze the power cable in one of them

Remove the battery and metal tray (just a couple bolts). There is a rubber grommet as DaOne mentioned. I cut a small slit in the rubber under the OEM wiring and snaked the power cable through there.

Afterwards, I took put some black silicone sealant on the rubber grommet, around the cable and hole which was made. That part can be skipped though.

I did the same on my 94. But I was able to reach the grommet without removing the battery. It was just below and to the side of the battery.
