we won't be able to help you out unless we see pics and year and model of your civic

to post pics on here sign up for a photo hosting site like photobucket and upload your pictures there and copy and paste the img code here

Yeah, Civics don't typically come with rear disc brakes except for like the 99-00 Civic Si, but I've seen some EG's with rear disk brakes. Don't know if they were swapped or they came like that. We need pics to tell you about it.

It would be the first EF I've seen with 4-wheel disk brakes. Never heard of the S model, though... the "1500" would refer to the displacement (~1,500cc).

*edit: 4wd should have a 1.6L though. I'm still doing some digging though.

Possibly just a replacement hatch from a previous generation? The third generation had a 1500S model and the body style wasn't too much different.

Notice anything different about the motor? Is that the original d15 and original head?

Engine looks just like mine, totally stock D15B2 with DPFI. I like that coolant bleeder bolt, but the first thing I'd do under the hood is run that #4 spark plug wire underneath the others instead of looping over the top.
