I found an inscription on the exhaust side of my JDM B18C. Can anyone on here read Japanese? I'm curious as to what it says:

yes i read fluet japanese and Honda inscribed that on some of their amazing motors
they just wanted all to know exactly how good it is

 

i can honestly say i never seen anything like that before, but i dont rly pay attention either, i would try looking it up on google.

 

i asked a friend that took a year of japanese and she said it doesnt look like japanese, she said it might be chinese and the first box is the chinese character for "one". i'll ask around for the other 2. just wondering is the 2nd and 3rd box the same word?

 

what? chinese? that would be really weird if it was.

she just told me that the japanese writes the one like that also. so i'm thinking the first word is one

EDIT: i asked another person, he said in Japanese it looks like one and the 2nd word looks like "still" and the second word looks like the third word.

he also said it looks like chinese, first word looks like one and the second word looks like "up" and the third word looks like "down".

he got the words by looking at it at a glance and thats what it looks like to him. since the words are a bit fainted

 

It would be strange for a Japanese motor to have a Chinese inscription. I have a friend with a Japanese wife, but he hasn't gotten back to me yet. The google search turned up nothing...

It might say "Sell this one to stupid American" for all I know

 

Actually, if I remember right, Japanese and Chinese are pretty much the same written language. Or at least use the same symbols. The symbols have different meanings though.
