Default Auto to manual conversion

Hey guys im getting my automatic converted to a manual transmission, the shop i took it too.. hes a really bright smart guy he knows his ****. but he still is a rookie tho, im just wondering if theres much to worry about? meaning like (problems for when its done) or any other worries that i might have in general, not only to the fact that kind of a rookie is doing my car? (is there much he can mess up?)

i guess anytime you do something like a swap or whatever there's always a chance for a f**k up but i guess you'll find out when you pick it up and drive it...lol.

well, from what I've heard, swapping transmissions isn't that hard... you could probably do it yourself if you wanted to. I think getting the clutch pedal installed would be the hardest part, really (but not having done it, I wouldn't know).

lol I don't think so... really, it's almost a bolt-on affair from what I've read... I've been researching it a bit lately... I want to swap mine to a 5speed soon...

its pretty easy to do, you just have to swap out the auto tranny for a 5 spd one. then you have to change the inside of the car so it will fit a shifter up in there. it costs up to 1500 bucks if i remember correctly.
