not sure if this should go under jus civic talk but i need help so ill post in both.

im getting my block ready for swap car is 99 civic ex running a d16y7 long story but
im swaping a b18a1. i wanna no if i can run my p2e with it. im sticking obd2b running a b18b head. p2e is non vtec ecu im sure u no so i was just wondering.

the block b18a1 was ls-vtec set so im replacing the b16 water n oil pump thats on there now but im not sure if im running a b16 timing belt?.

can i use my d16y8 alternator with the b18 or do i hav to look for one. n can i use my y8 power steering also.

come on guys.. let me no what u think. iv never done b18's before im sure there exact from b16 jus need to be completly sure.

 

Damn, looks like no one wants to help ya out haha...but with my experience that i know I believe you have to keep B-series with B-series and D with D...I am almost positive they are not interchangeable.
