Best thing you can do for handling would be a rear sway bar/brace IMO. I had a 24mm ASR sway bar and brace on my 99 Civic and the car become a completely different monster when thrown into turns.

Decided not to go vtec and drop in the b20b with the S4C. Later possibly boosting. Girlfriend of awhile is bugging me for an engagement ring. so I need to finish the engine swap. Need to know if its possible just to tune an ecu which is suppose to be used for vtec for a na engine no vtec.

A stock VTEC ECU with non-VTEC engine will run OK for daily driving but it will throw a CEL if you ever rev high enough that it tries to engage the VTEC.

A socketed ecu can run any motor so long as it is tuned. A non vtec ecu can be converted to vtec and vice versa. You can also just not tune the high cam fuel/ignition tables. There's no vtec so it won't ever see the high cam tables anyways.
