I have an 06 civic and the back passenger door won't shut all the way. If i lean into it i can make it plush against the side panel but when i move away the door edges back out. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there anything I should look at before taking it to the shop?

 

im assuming the latch has been flipped down and therefore wont latch around the striker bolt/plate, anywho just pull on the door handle and it should open the latch back up.

 

Thanks for the response. I took a closer look and the latch was fine but the metal bracket that the latch locks around was super lose. I tightened the bolts and it's now good as new.
