well 2day i went to a mechanic that a friend of mine reffered me 2, i was hyaving trouble starting it.. usually took about 7-8 cranks when it sat for awhile.... i told the mechanic i changed the fuel filter, checked the alternator, replaced the battery, the fuel pump is working fine and cleaned ther fuel injectors... i said no need to check any of those.... so he calls me a few hours later and says the cars not starting at all, its the distributor and needs to be replaced, it costs $450, i said dont do anything, i went to the shop and started the car up in about 5 cranks, before i left he said i owe him money.... i said for what, he said he checked the fuel pressure and that costs money.... i said i already told him it was fine their was no need to checkk it... then he said he diagnosed the problem and it xcosts $60. i said **** off... long story short he wouldnt give me back my kkeys so i gave him $40 and told my friend hes a dick causeh e goes to this jerkoff, i took it 2 another guy who said hell check it outin the morning and will replace the distributor for $300......its been a bad day cause i just got paid today and their goes my money [:@], anyway what r the synptoms of a distributor going bad??
