Default is body in decent shape?

ok well i plan to get a paint job with urethane body kit in 2 weeks, i want to make it look nice and then i plan to do a swap maybe in a year or two, when my engine or tranny goes on me, thing is swaps are time and money and i will strat saving afte ri get my rims, my older brother is trying to convince me to not do it as it is a waste of timee, but e is not into tuning civics so im not taking his advice, its a 92 civic 4dr, how can i tell if the internal body is in good shape and wont fall apart on me, are their specific places i should check, as i plan to keep it for 5-6 more years and the car is already 15 years old [:@], oh yeah and my car has 116k on the body and motor if that matters

just know that u will never get the money u put into to it...but tuners aren't about money its a love and passion we all carry with us day in and day out......

u want to check the wheel wells for rust and fenders and doors. just look around and see if there is any rust.get under the car and check for rust. rust is the death of civics..

cutting and welding is the only right way to get rid of the rust...if u put bondo over it your only hiding the problem and it will come back to haunt you...the only way u can prevent it is spraying atleast primer on any bare metal spots. if u have rust and don't want to spread sand down all surface rust and primer it then u will really see how bad the rust is.......

where do u have rust..
