Default Are the books pretty good?

I've got a Y2K EX coupe, with poly lip, aem V2 cai, tinted windows, strut bar, short shifter, 17" motegis... only real blemish is a ding under the rear window and normal parking lot dings. 128k miles.

What do you guys think is a real world asking price? I've been told by many that NADA and KBB are not good to go by.

NADA retail is $7k, trade in is $5.4k.

KBB is saying $6200 for private sale.

Unfortunately, I owe $6800.

ive heard kbb actually averages the prices of cars being sold to find their value, so that would seem pretty accurate but i could be wrong.
