I'll try again...
Greetings!
I tried this in the New Members Area and got little response, so I'll try here.
My wife's '88 Civic AWD Wagon failed to start back in September, after gradually becoming harder to start over previous months. It has 25 psi or less in all four cylinders. Cam timing and valve lash check ok. Maybe the head gasket is bad, however, it never overheated and has no oil in coolant or coolant in oil.
We were already shopping for something roomier when the Civic quit, and have since replaced it with a new CR-V. So now I need to make room in the driveway. Too many other projects means I have neither the time nor the energy to repair the Civic for sale.
So here's my question: Is this car of any value as a non runner, or do I take it in the shorts and pay someone to haul it off to salvage.
Thanks
