Default buying civic

Hi there!

I'm new here, but I'm willing to buy a new Civic.
Although I'm in doubt because it looks nice but it's also very futuristic. But I'll probably take it.
The only choice I have to make over here is the Diesel (2.2) or not...
Any advantages/experiences in favour of one or the other? (besides the obvious ones)

Thanks!!
Froggy

I think diesel fuel is more around here. but I am not sure if it is more efficent. I belive it is not soI would just go with a normal one.

The only thing that I could see that's better about a diesel is that it will probably last forever. Look at all the really high mileage diesels still running.

but is there really still a big difference in performance?
and even if there is: if you compare a 2.2 diesel to a 1.8 normal one...

only that it could be noisy and that would suck
