Default Buying Honda Civic

Hi. I am 19 years old and I am buying a car for the first time.

I would like to buy a Honda Civic as it seems a reliable car and generally quite easy to customize and make look good.

My budget is around 2000-4500 euro. I can spend more over time on fixing it up.

Though I'm not sure what the best generation of Civic is? I've been looking at 94' - 99' civics... Also which model is better?

I've been looking through some pictures of civics and found some that catch my eye.

This is a 99' Civic... but what model is it? I'd like something similar. I like the shape.

This is what I'm looking into buying:Honda Civic 1.6 Vtec

What are the better models for a small difference in price? Would I be better off going for a 1.5i VTEC-E (99')? or a 1.4i Silverstone (99')?
Thanks, Aidan.

i would recommend the the 6th generation 1996-00, as imo i think they are the best for tricking out, and look the nicest. and you can also drop in a newer engine for more hp into it if you want.
