Default Buying Si

Posted a couple times before..I got a 97 dx..after lowering and putting rims on it im realizing that getting it to what i want is gettting to expensive..so I found this 2000 si with 95/k //with a reconditioned title..and everything is in ok shape body wise and and motor wise..its looks a little towed out in the back ..but they want 7800.. And I can get about 3000 for my trade..so wondering if it sounds like a good idea??..it being a recon.title and all...

probably salvage. If so, $7800 is rediculous. I'd pay $6000 for it at most. No offense, but for $7800 you can do better then a '00 civic. For example: integra GSR, VR6 Jetta, audi A4, nissan 240SX, MR2 turbo, some MB and BMW models, etc.

I mean, it's $8500 in the blue book. Therefore, I'd expect to pay about $7500 - $8000 for an SI with a clean title. Buying a salvage car is like buying a cat in a hat.
