I just entered my car into a car show and i got a top 50 trophey. nothing big but now im hooked haha. I was wondering if anyone was a judge or has been in a car show. what all do they look for? They told me you get more points for a Fire Exstinquisr and a first aid kit. Figured this post would help a lot of first time show car people

 

i never heard of gettting more points for a fire extinquisr but some of the smaller shows require it.. i would have to say clean your car like a **** and don't have any flaws on your paint ..thats about the biggest things and if the mods were done clean don't do them sloppy oh yea and don't think your goin to place all the time even at lil shows favortism is apart of shows .......so just keep it clean and have fun at shows don't be there for the throphies cause there just plastic but seein the reactions on peoples faces that they have only seen cars like that on tv is priceless.........

 

yea, cleanin it is a MUST. get the dust and dirt off of it. make the tires and rims SHINE hehe.

BTW: how much did your air ride cost? im plannin on gettin it put on mine soon.

 

a couple more tips

..have all your stuff working, lights, audio/video, theres nothing worse then trying to show off somthing that dosent work

..HIDE all your wires, judges dont want to see a messy install

..some shows you get points for your dispaly, sometimes i think displays are stupid but you could make somthing cool

 

i had 3000 in my air ride.......but i had alot done to it....i did the install myself so that 3k doesnt include labor.

 

yea, hide the wires. keep the tips commin, help everyone out hehe

 

basically have your ride ****k an span. most shows judge u on like 5 categories and every category they look at 4-5 things and cleanliness is apart of all.
