how in the hell are you supposed to change the head light bulbs in my '03 Civic LX?

its retarded, i can't reach around to get at them and i can't take the head light out.


theres gotta be a trick?

 

well im not POSITIVE.... but from the pictures i can find of a 03 civic headlights is they have 3 mounting bolts... the two on top and the one on the outter lower, looks like it would either be behind the bumper cover or maybe just behind the inside splash shield from the wheel wells. and that way you could pull the whole headlights out to replace the bulbs.

i know its easier to pull the whole headlights out to swap the bulbs than it is to try to get to the bulbs with them in the car.....

and if all else fails... go to your local autozone or what ever autoparts store and buy a chiltons or hayness or what ever manual for your car! it will pay for itself 100Xs over with helping you out from all the good information from it!

 

it doesn't even look as if the head lights will fit out the front, the front grill and side panel is too close, idk!

 

Are you trying to take out the whole headlight? if so you might have to take off the front bumper
